Congrats, great work. Adding the wolf was a nice touch.

author says:

TY Fruity. The Wolf and the Bird were afterthoughts. The wolf added a slight imbalance to the Chop - to my eye at least. I wanted to crop it wider to the right to get the balance right. However there were hundred of layers and that presented a problem. When you widen something like that you can get hard edges like where the right edge was from your brushing, masking, etc. I worked 2 hrs trying to get the crop right but there were certain things that just didn't line up. Looking through hundreds of layers to find those little things was really bugging me out, so I just left it as is. Hope I explained that right.

Appreciate your comment. That chop was full on "hammer and chisel". Just beat on it till it looked good. Hope you can relate.

Again, I will try hard not to GUSH. I studied your SBS with interest and want to say that I've looked for flaws that I could critique or help you with ( )
but this is quite perfect in my eyes. You have shadows from the legs done realistically. The tail from the cat in front could be lost (to my puerile eyes) but that is just me. Thank you for your SBS which is a lesson and education for me.

Thank you Olga.

Sing in the Sunshine - created by skyangel

Sing in the Sunshine
Favs: 1SBS: n/aHi-resRank: 1/8Score: 63.5% (35)20181 views

Horses were cut from backgrounds and placed on new background. The mouths were cut out separately, slightly warped and liquified to exaggerate the shapes.
The "wild" manes and hair were cut out and added. They were also warped and liquified to fit.
Some of the mane hairs were painted in by hand to blend the manes together.
Some cloning was done in parts to get rid of areas I did not want. Dodge and burn applied to various areas. Lots of color matching and adjusting.
Lighting effects added.
Oil paint filter applied.
Thin frame added.
