itgik: Is going to be interesting if the increase in Prize Money increases the amount of entries. ( 5 years and 3384 days ago )
r1k3r: This is going to be good. It would be great to see more entries. ( 5 years and 3384 days ago )
lobusdexter: I thought the models should be "real" like having existed in real world. I don't see that in the entries?! What am I missing? ( 5 years and 3380 days ago )
Contest Moderator: You do not have to model an exact replica of a brand name. As long as what you are modeling does, or did exist, ie a gramophone. NOT made up or futuristic record players. ( 5 years and 3380 days ago )

I based this entry on my own turntable and for the most part tried to recreate in proportion.
Surprisingly this wasn't too hard as it is quite a simple object. (used mainly tubes cubes & cylinders.) Well I hope I have done it credit.
I saved up my wages in my first job and bought it which was around 25 years ago. Unfortunately it has been sitting in the loft for about 12 of those. (5 years and 3377 days ago)

In the attic I found my father's old record player. It meant the world to him. I wasn't even allowed to touch it.
Today it's rotting in the attic...

Simply modeled base after blueprint and then filled with my own fantasy. (5 years and 3373 days ago)
