This is an awesome design and render, but it's not steampunk. There is no wood, no brass, no steam coming from 'smoke stacks' or tubes of any kind. Research this genre a little bit, author, and do another one, I'm sure you'll kick butt once you see the look. Think Victorian era look/materials with more current technology.
like this is very nicely built and funny -- redo star wars as steam punk
This is very cool, author! Love the wood, the 'brass' texture with the buttons around the top, the pipes for the gauges, and the gauges themselves (the one on the left could use some more details/wording, tho, but great start). The 'snakey' texture on the hoses is really nice, as well as the structure of the 'feet' and the dome, but I'm not sure if they're 'steampunky', that material looks fairly contemporary. Overall, tho, very nice work.
cool !
