I love the way the canon looks in step 9, a shame that some of the effect is lost in the bright daylight. Extra points for humor!

Grass is made with VRay hair suppose. Try to assign an original grass picture as bitmap color. This add more color variation and make it more natural.

The tail of forks is ussually curved ( just google fork on Images- you ll see) , it's some universal ergonomical rule for designing forks ( and spoons).
Besides this minor detail, i think it's a good entry for Idioms.

my understanding of in the bag... was that whatever it was was obtainable.... hence bagged...?...

In The Bag:
To have something secured.

But it's "in the bag," not "in the chest, invisible..."

Why don't you change the chest with an old bag (by popular demand), tied up with a rope - medieval style - and a warning when bag is open, etc.
It would be a pity to get low votes just cause of this.
