Contest goal:

The goal of this contest is to design and model a mask. It could be an operatic mask, a mask used in masquerade balls, an iron mask, etc... Ultimately it can be any kind of mask. No pre-built meshes allowed in this one. SBS guide is mandatory. Have fun, good luck!

Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

LKY: can I use characters like Jason and Jigsaw ?? cuz those character are behind mask anyways . ( 5 years and 3218 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Yes you can (Just remember "Jigsaw" was a doll or puppet, not really a mask). The 3D guidelines say that you are allowed to model famous objects or places or buildings, as long as the reference you use is not copyrighted. Enjoy and good luck ( 5 years and 3218 days ago )
Contest Moderator: 8.1. Step by Step Guides: SBS guides are mandatory for 3D contests and MUST contain a brief description with each step.

Please can members start including a description with each step of their SBS. Screenshots are great, but describe nothing. If you do not include a brief description with each step, your SBS will be declined. As from this contest you will also automatically get a warning, which means your entry will be temporarily removed from the contest until you rectify it. Sorry these are the rules, and have been since the start of 3D contests.

C'mon guys, if you can do an SBS, you can add a description too.... Plus it helps other members, who do not do 3D to read what you have done. ( 5 years and 3215 days ago )
migue1ito: question- In Bryce 3d would a Primitive object such as a sphere or cube be considered a "pre-built mesh"? ( 5 years and 3213 days ago )
Contest Moderator: No a standard primitive such as that is NOT a pre-built mesh. ( 5 years and 3212 days ago )
migue1ito: groovy (h) ( 5 years and 3212 days ago )
locxoul: can me use standard head character object..?, for example in poser..? ( 5 years and 3209 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Unfortunately in this case I think Poser and Daz models would considered Pre-built meshes. So are not allowed. If you want a head behind your mask. You have to model it yourself. I hope this answers your question ( 5 years and 3209 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Submitperiod has ended, new entries uploaded after 20.00 GMT will be removed. ( 5 years and 3204 days ago )
