The goal of this contest is to create the most realistic render of a human skin. Model a human head and texture it as realistic as you can. In the SBS you will have to show and explain every step of the texturing and the final shader used. No pre-built shaders and meshes allowed.
There are dark horizontal stripes running across the bust - almost like he's standing in front of a window blind. Was this intentional?

A bit large on the texture relief, it looks almost "lumpy" at the temple and above the corner of the mouth. Also way too shiny, even with an oily complexion. Skin absorbs more light than it reflects.

the lighting is simple 3 point with a gobo on the main light for the shadows across the face hope you like..
