I created this in part using Groboto v3, so I'm including it as a source. From there went to external 3d software for texturing, lighting, and rendering. (5 years and 2983 days ago)

Ok, so doing fractals in 3D can just about make every processor in your computer say, HELL NO! But I managed to finally get out an image that I thought was worthy to be an entry into the competition. I called it Pixel Wave, because it kind of looks like a wave. Fractals are beautiful things - just very processor hungry when in 3D.
Enjoy! Looking forward to your comments. (5 years and 2986 days ago)
Groboto is very cool software. This came out well.
Yes, I downloaded the evaluation trial just for this contest. If you haven't seen, version 3 has crazy nice boolean modeling. It takes a lot of the tediousness of meshing your primitives together. It would make a nice base modeler, but probably still needs to end up in another software to finish.
Howdie stranger!
