Contest goal:

A reciprocating engine, also often known as a piston engine, is a heat engine that uses one or more reciprocating pistons to convert pressure into a rotating motion. Your task is to model one. Anything from a full blown nitro-methane beast to an old fashioned steam engine. Your engine can be displayed as you wish but remember, the engine is to be the prominent feature, from a cut-away version to showing it mounted in a vehicle. Attention to detail is key here.
