this is a simple work done in 3ds max and v ray and it took 45 min to finish up this.i used textures only for the cookie piece with the mix and blend maps. (5 years and 3694 days ago)

very nice but maybe put the ants in a more random spot makes it more lifelike
You should have used a real ant as reference...
I really like the idea - clean and simple. What I don't like is the angle. The cake looks 2D - your modeling doesn't show at all. You should also make the ants more random by (different size and rotate the legs individually for every ant). Besides that I really like the concept and will save my vote for later.
I would've put a simple picnic blanket underneath. Background is lacking. I like your ants, though.
