PS. I'm not sure but to me it seems that it's quite bad quality, don't know if you can't render higher quality stuff because off your machine but to me it seems like your user name came out kind of blurry. Fix that and you have an awesome entry!

Beautiful creation, but your overall gamma is too dark, making so much of your effort hard to appreciate.
Just using a lighter background would do wonders, or adding a spotlight...Something to bring up the contrast between your award and the background would do wonders.
Added an extra ambient light - hope it looks better
