Nice Job! Only thing IMO is that the white dots? Are they meant to be the white particles snow like things in a snow globe? because IMO they don't really blend into your image author.. I'm not sure... maybe take them out or make ALLOT more of them and ALLOT smaller Hope this helps! Great Image! Good luck!
I also spotted one more thing on the green tree the top is nor smooth and has small quads visible.. Sorry to be picky just add a smooth modifier and it will fix the very small problem best of luck
Thanks for your input toothpick, a few things you think are "wrong" however were done on purpose, haha. For instance, when I made the tree, a simple spline with loft nurbs applied, I noticed that the top was a little off, I could have changed the spline, added more rotations or put hyper nurbs (smooth mesh) onto it but I think it makes it look more 'plastic' and toyish, like its been moulded that way. And yeah the white dots are meant to be the 'snow' particles from the globe, some of which are still floating a little, this is to make it look as though they are flying from the smash.
Fair enough author You're the BOSS haha Good Luck !
The snow man shows no shadow on his body, although he shows a shadow on the floor. That makes him look very flat and artificial.
Likewise, the two "snowy lumps" are casting no shadows on the floor.
Otherwise, this is very nicely done!
Snowman looks to be lit from within. If that were the case, it wouldn't cast a shadow.
The snowman simply has a very white texture. it does need work but with the time it takes and being home over the holidays I cannot get around to it for now so it'll have to do.
oh no! broken snow globe!
