The ring setting is beautiful, but the stone looks like a glass, there are no inner reflections of the stone, you can see the setting through the back of it.

Nice composition shame the diamond is missing reflections, taking a look at your SBS I would say that the diamond intersecting the mount would have a lot to do with no generation of fresnel reflection, volume absorption and light dispersion.
