I don't know what is not to understand. It's a strand of DNA made up of connecting rods (the thing that connects the piston to the crankshaft in a standard engine) That's all.
what is that in the Forground?
Ah, it's another strand, perpendicular to the strand in the background. I did this so the details could be seen. Sorry for the confusion.
