Bummer that the spots aren't real rendered reflections. All in all, pretty cool.

@ Secretsather... actually the spots are real caustic light reflections coming off of the mirror ball. Apart from boosting up the vibrance a bit in photoshop, this was the final render.
lights reflection is good but needed to fix disco ball it having triangle's in bottom and top area .you should use sphere in low res and then fix the triangle and then subdivide mesh level so then it will be all polygon like real disco ball.
Hi Prem. Yes I did realize that, but then I though... this could be a new design, using triangular shards at the base, because they can receive more light from os single source spot.
