thanks to the blueprints.com for the Bentley Mk.IV 1950 blue print.i modeled this in 3ds max and rendered in vray.no textures used and the basic material settings used.i tried to clear about the modeling in sbs. (5 years and 3727 days ago)
Ok. So this is my first ever 3D thing ever. I had to simplify the shapes a bit because I made the whole thing in Bryce 5.5. Still, I had fun and might try some more contests later.
All the textures and objects used came with Bryce.
I used this blueprint: http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/cars/bentley/24163/view/bentley_4_5_litre_1929/ (5 years and 3728 days ago)
Bryce is fantastic software, only the snobs can afford the 3dmax and mental price ray lol, good image keep at it you will get better and better.
wow very cool
Good job.....G/L Author.
Quote from Missy : â€Damn goodâ€. I read twice your excellent SBS and I still cant believe to my eyes that you've made this beautiful car with the primitives modelling tools of Bryce. I'll never try that, it's like to work only with my left hand. Incredible good, congrats.
For being the first 3D thing ever, I must say you've done a great job! I've allways considered Bryce a crappy 3D-software that only can make mediocre landscapes. Allthough i still believe Bryce has its limitations, you've proved me wrong!
Excellent...
Thanks for your encouraging comments everyone.
hey itz looking gr8..i wanna try something in bryce while seeing ur work

The car was mdelled in 3ds max with the simple modeling techniques and editing the spline and polygons.no reference images used and just followed the blue print .while saving the steps for sbs i found it gone to around 176 steps so i summarized them and given them in sbs.i images in sbs would clear u every thing and for the texture i used brick texture for background and the rendering is in vray.No ps used for this work. Will be adding to the SBS as I get time.
Modelled in Maya 10 and rendered with Mental Ray (5 years and 3737 days ago)
love it very good
The model itself looks great and that's usually what should generate high marks. But i can't help thinking the background is extremely boring. Perfectly square corners,100% reflective mirrors and no texturing at all makes the whole image sterile.
You should really try remodeling the background (if you want credit for all your hard work), since that's what makes the reflections on the car look natural.
Will see what I can do dka
gud looking
nice work author
