Take a look at the hi-res and see if there is a gift for you! (5 years and 2892 days ago)
awww no gifts for me o.o; *cries* lol j/k great entry just think it be nicer on a less shiny floor, maybe a nice thick carpet or a wooden floor. but nice work nonetheless
Eledine - There is a gift for you! Look, the one at the bottom left. I would never forget you!
p.s. I like your idea of the wooden floor (think it will tie in nicely with the gold). I'll update and reload. Thanks!
Tried it with a wooden floor but it looses something. I think i'm going to stick with the dark contrast and the shiny floor.
- Daddy, what will have under the christmas tree this year?
- Wooden floor, son!
Yay I have a present -
Personally I think the floor is a little too reflective and seems to take away from the tree etc.
nice work............
I'm flattered. I think I have the largest gift!
i wonder whats in my box , good work author and gl
Hi Mircea, the tree and tinsel "fur" was created with C4D's Hair Plugin and some custom hair shader/modifiers I made to get the effect I wanted. No Maya used. Rendering also all done in C4D.
Sorry havent look back untill now and thnx for the present a wonderfull and thoughtfull gift it was! You know me so well LMAO :P too bad the wooden floor didnt work out. but you should stick with what you like best and well you tried right? excellent work still and lmao at sigi :P
you should have put a lump of coal under there for someone as a joke, lol. Great job author!

if you made the string at the top a loop it would help the image look like a ball- at the moment it looks like a bomb
Also I think the planks of wood are too short if you stretched them I think the base would look better.
