I LOVE THIS!!! Very nice job here.
I really love this entry, but you are also totally off theme, metaballs are not simple cubes/rectangles.
You could just take that out and do just the icecubes but not sure how good that would look.
@MnMCarta thank u very much for ur fav
@Ory thank you for ur nice comment .in my opinion the focus is on the cubes so its on theme
That's true, but rules says only cubes allowed.
But it's a nice ice material.
Just remove the drops of water and you will be framed within the theme.
amazing render!
is there any displacement how did you do this
no displacement just refraction reflections and fresnel
Uhmmmm...........seems like the contest guidelines about all cubes was ignored this contest. Nce render though, good luck!
Nice Congrats
thank you very much, respects

Thanks very much Kevin
looks great to me
Spectacular. I just hope that as a child, your playroom didn't have a cold marble floor on which to play!
Awesome
That's cool !
Amazing imagination and creativity....Also a great effort...good luck...
you have found some really nice textures..it's a simplistic model, but I don't think wood blocks could look much better..nice reflection in the floor...I agree that it probably shouldn't be a child's playroom though..lol
Those blocks look a bit like they're made out of carton
Cute good luck

This is a good work author, the realisim is high enough to gain a good marks.
I'm very impressed by the render quality.
but I guess (and this is the only bad thing I can say about this) that the water drops' distrebution is rather weak.
Anyway GL
Thank you. I tried, and failed, with using different scattering methods but I was running out of time and the dropplets was the last thing I did before I had to start rendering.
wow great job!! i like the clear of the ice cube
superb work author... good luck...
yes the water is a bit weak. but compared to the others in this competition you have mastered ice cubes .
for water try experimenting with real-flow or a water sim, and the depth of field is superb. . maybe in later competitions you could even use fume fx . to add the element of frost. just an idea. taking it to the next level never stops . great job
Brilliant!
