If they were all sliver and reflective, this would be a great take on the theme, but having them colored with those strange artificial colors doesn't make this look like a disco ball, just a bunch of utensils...
LOL unique style good job

There really aren't any reflections on the tiles, they're just two shades of gray...Great design, but needs more work.
There is no reflected light in this image - perhaps rework it and get it looking more realistic so that it can fit in with the theme more.
its a render without any light setup i did it with only a hdri environment. i didn't added any light and multi color lights also for discoball coz the first entry have it so i did different work from it so no one will say that my work have other entry style
btw thanks for comments
good job on background and disc style but need to improve color scheme

Just add some pounding disco beats and you're ready to go!
Nice work!
Bummer that the spots aren't real rendered reflections. All in all, pretty cool.
Thanks MossyB - means a lot coming from you... When do you think Pxleyes will start animation competitions because this would look amazing animated.
@ Secretsather... actually the spots are real caustic light reflections coming off of the mirror ball. Apart from boosting up the vibrance a bit in photoshop, this was the final render.
lights reflection is good but needed to fix disco ball it having triangle's in bottom and top area .you should use sphere in low res and then fix the triangle and then subdivide mesh level so then it will be all polygon like real disco ball.
Hi Prem. Yes I did realize that, but then I though... this could be a new design, using triangular shards at the base, because they can receive more light from os single source spot.
Pastel disco...lol

you should do the UVs so thew texture wont be streshed
Thanks for your comment foxymop...
I suppose you are a beginner? There's a lot of things things that could have been done, but here's some things you can experiment with: It's not that easy to make out how you have been texturing, but for learning you could try applying the bump map (the one available in your source url) to the bump channel and make it specular and slightly reflective.
dka120 : Yes I am a beginner. I used the bump map but it didn't pop-up well. I agree.
Ok, I see.. bump maps doesn't have much effect without specularity and/or reflections. Try experimenting with those values and you'll see the difference.
About the bump, thing is that, the bump only simulates bumpyness of what is pointi to the camera. If you want to see bumps on the side of the objects, you need to use displacement maps. Like the Strawberry jar in this contest.
nice job
Thanx Chakra just trying
