Thanks to Ali2008 to lend me his bike (5 years and 2948 days ago)
Good stuff here.
Change the wooden material on the door, and also change the projection method. Add a rim to the mat and displacement to the bricks. Also try making the bike yourself if its in your scene. Those are just my suggestions to make this a better entry.
Nice Congrats

You really went out on a limb with this one, author. Nice chop and sentiment.

my first 3d entry, tips on how to improve would be welcome :)
made a modern house scene to contrast the old mini. But i kept the paintjob new to still match the overal scene. (5 years and 3159 days ago)
The cooper is too dark. You can't make out the paint job, and the reflections on the roof and back are dimmer than the one on the front, which is too close to the viewer, and too lonely - there should be a reflection on the car for each light on the house.
Also, to have a shadow that hard edged and prominent, you are looking at bright sunlight, but you have a sunset-ish horizon...
Lovely composition, but the lighting issues are hurting it.
Tnx for the comment Mossy B, i admit i struggle with my lighting.
Thats why the car is only lit by the eveningsun, explaining the soft shadows.
Need to find a way to make my spotlights to work grrr.
The reason that the lighting & reflections are dimmer on the back and roof is a 2 color paintjob, i added another step in wich its better to see
Author as a suggestion if check the exposure level perhaps that may help. All in all I think this is a nice render though.
Fantastic render author...gl
nice image
Great work on the house, I really the the entry overall yet as for the purpose of the contest. I like the house and scene more than I do the mini, which its not really the point of this contest. Great work nevertheless

Yes Warlock, I set the edges of the Gizmo to full soften at 1.0
Cool... we have these (restored) up here in the Erie Canal!

Nice, but the beam of light going through the fog should be more diffused
Thx, i agree,
I have tried many different shader settings, and couldn't get it right.
Try Photoshop
I'm no expert in chopping, but I think you can do it with the blur settings. GL
Thx for the replies, you are both right.Instead of trying too achieve a good result in my 3d application,i should have done it during post production.
