Wonderful !
Beautiful render. Suppose render all those scattered Lines for grass take a lot of time. Hair modifier make the same thing with a grass bitmap but render time is also very long.As a simple suggestion. On light rollon,Advanced Effects there is an option named Projector map. If you click on None and then assign as Bitmap a photo with clouds, the white reflection on the ball will be more realistic. Good luck, excelent work.
Thanks billyboy for that tip! and yes the render took about 2 hours give or take a few minutes.
I love love LOVE the tree reflection on the ball!
Nice reflection on the ball.....
good shine and nice grass..a little too simplistic for my taste though
K.I.S.S. A good way to be...lol
Everything's great! the blue's bothering me though
Wonderfuly done Backgrounds a bit to blue. Good luck to you author.

AWESOME!!!!
nicely done -- very nice relfections on the metal
oh freepin hell.. this makes a great point that we need a whole lot MORE of 3d entries.. I'm sorry.. this does NOT look 3d.. it looks like a freepin photograph (thought the spray cans on top need work.. just for light density purposes..) (this is a compliment author).. I just think that we need to have a whole lot more competitions so we can figure out what we are looking at)
I'm not negative... I'm un learned.. that means I'm a doofus magoofus when it comes to 3d.. and when I'm exposed to it I want so much more... sigh.. as my mom would say.. I'm a greedy guts...
I sure do hope that PXL makes more and more challenges like this.. so we can see everything that graphics can do.. and that's what I love about me... (I'm such a demanding bastard.. errr umm.. kid ( I know my father and mother ).. giggle snort.. good luck author.. oh hell in a hand basket.. good luck to anyone who can endure working in 3d... you all have the patients of saints LOL
love the color, great detail. good job author
it still looks plastic (the orange saw texture) and the woodtexture needs some work to (wood doesn't looks like that) i'm a carpenter trust me
But the brickwall is pretty well made other then it could need some cracks etc. Great modelling tho
Congratulations for your first place!
