very nice work...good luck author
I used to build and launch model rockets. One of my favorites was able to take a payload, like an egg aloft. Rendered with 3D S Max Mental Ray.
Material for sky came from CGTextures.com

SRB apogee altitude 220,000 feet, or 35 nautical miles (41 statute miles). 135 nautical miles down range from Cape Canaveral, FL.......Made entirely in 3D Studio Max, tweaked with CS3. Texture maps from here:

A very nice image, the rockets and the fire are very well made, my suggestion would be to rotate the planet so that the ground is more visinle than the water, to make it look more realistic. Good luck!
...ponti thanks, but I like the water
If that planet is suppose to be earth( which I think is) and earth's 3/4 surface is covered by water that image would make pretty much sense... Anyway good image...
Also thanks to global warming sea level is rising slowly but surely... >.>
oh wow, really nice! congrats

Really nice texturing and pattern!
yeah i agree with mossyb and i really like the feather good luck
This is a really nice job. I can only see one problem with this, some of the grass geometry is coming through the hat geometry. Maybe you could but a soft body reactor on the grass, so that hat moves the grass away from it's brim? Nice render and good texturing though
Yep great work tweak the grass like R2 said, good luck...
Neat
hi sorry for commenting again could u plz rotate the map out of sight on the brim the seam is bugging me
Very nice piece of work author...love the combination of hat flower-ish pattern and dark green grass...and of course other guys are right about fixing grass a bit...It would be shame if this work get lower votes because of that...best of luck
Really nice job!Visually very pleasing.
Very cool!
This is great and even better now.
Superb!
grass looking way better, the flowers are a nice touch
very nice work.
Very nice job, love the flower pattern, but you've got %, it should be 10/6 - that is, if this is a Mad Hatter hat... you nailed the shape, tho!
IMHO.....something missing here.....texturing or rendering......it could be better than that!!!
Congrats Mircea, wonderful work
Really nice job! Visually very pleasing.
Congratulations for your fist place.
