The goal of this contest is to render skin not to make a human head.. so i only rendered the skin (5 years and 3012 days ago)
the lighting is simple 3 point with a gobo on the main light for the shadows across the face hope you like..
A bit large on the texture relief, it looks almost "lumpy" at the temple and above the corner of the mouth. Also way too shiny, even with an oily complexion. Skin absorbs more light than it reflects.
Good effort, though!
actually, with all the make up they put on peoples faces on the NEWS programs, you got it pretty close LOL (It's a neat image to me
