The background of the snowglobe is pitch black...Even distorted, some of all the ambient lighting from the tree lights should be visible.
That said, this is a very well done image.
Perhaps maybe through the screen of a CRT monitor you dug out of a dumpster, but through a LCD 22" widescreen, I see the background of the globe very well. You even turned it upside down like it should be.
I just saw your SBS! YOU MADE THAT globe in a 3D render??? I'm impressed! GL!
