like this is very nicely built and funny -- redo star wars as steam punk
- Cinema 4D for modeling
- CorelDraw for some texture
- CS3 for contrast color
.....btw...i want to add. more details...but i don't have time to do this and my pc is not verry strong for details rendering!!!

This is very cool, author! Love the wood, the 'brass' texture with the buttons around the top, the pipes for the gauges, and the gauges themselves (the one on the left could use some more details/wording, tho, but great start). The 'snakey' texture on the hoses is really nice, as well as the structure of the 'feet' and the dome, but I'm not sure if they're 'steampunky', that material looks fairly contemporary. Overall, tho, very nice work.
cool !
fantastic thing author and great humor...well done

Hi,I modelled this in Autodesk 3dsmax and rendered this out with default scanline renderer. The modelling involves polygonal modelling, organic modelling, probooleans, spline modelling.I have elaborated the steps in SBS.All the best for all the participants....Thanks..... (5 years and 3296 days ago)
This is an awesome design and render, but it's not steampunk. There is no wood, no brass, no steam coming from 'smoke stacks' or tubes of any kind. Research this genre a little bit, author, and do another one, I'm sure you'll kick butt once you see the look. Think Victorian era look/materials with more current technology.
fantastic work but way more war machine then steampunk...any how i wish u best of luck author
Congrats!
Congrats for your second place!
Really awesome construction, congrats!

Steam powered socket wrench.
Created with DAZ Bryce 7 Pro.
IBL/HDRI Lighting.
Nothing special about the techniques here, just basic primitive modeling with some simple composites.

very very cool work author...good luck
Pretty cool design on this, tho the silver parts would be better as brass. Nice little touch with the maker's name and date.

could use a rig like that. (5 years and 3300 days ago)
That would be a really creative model! Good job author.
Love the crank to raise the lid! The glowing top knob is a bit distractive, but overall this is a great creation!
fantastic!! nailed it auth..gud job
awesome idea! Great job.
cool work author...good luck
Love the gears, love the crank, the keyboard work, but the chrome and blue lights just don't say 'steampunk' IMHO. The gramophone speaker is a really cool idea. If you could just switch the metal to brass, and re-color the lights to just a golden hue, this would be outstanding! Excellent construction overall.
Congrats!! It was my fav!
Congrats for your third place, Mircea!
