This is lovely! It would be better with some sort of background besides solid black, though...
Never the less, awesome work here!

Legend has it that the Chocolate Goblin was once human, just like us. One day, this unfortunate soul consumed an unmentionable amount of chocolate and as a result, mutated into a large globular mass. It now lives alone at the bottom of a deep, dark chocolate vat in a chocolate factory somewhere. (5 years and 3241 days ago)

It's the end of the world as we know it, da da da daaaa dah dah dah...
The earth and the meteor I have not gone into great detail in the SBS so if you would like to attempt to replicate my work please see the source links for the tutorials. (5 years and 3242 days ago)
A lot more stars in the sky would help this image, since there are billions of them. The few you have are hardly visible at all...
Technically, of course, there would be no smoke trails, since there is no atmosphere in space, but you've created a very dynamic scene!
Ahhhhh author, maybe this will happened but is it possible that all flaming meteors will hit Americas (South and North)...just joke...i say that only because in every Sci-Fi movie meteors, aliens, volcanoes and other disasters hits America...
Ah Mossy, I knew someone would point out that there is no oxygen in space and so the flames are not possible. I did come up with a solution however. If the earth was to have a massive atmosphere then the flames are possible... lol. That should do.
And Erathion, I live in the UK and so did not want to destroy my own home . Also I did consider that in every single film it always seems to be America that is the target of destruction. I don't think it anything against America, but lets face it, the largest target audience for a blockbuster action movie is American so its only fitting.

Fantastic piece author...Instant fav from me...
gee thanks!
Re-published after removal of dodgy source texture - sorry Mods!!
well thank god this came back.. I was going to warn you about the source.. but I was sure who ever was modding this would catch it... (3d mods are a weird group.. unique.. I've heard they sneak around in the middle of the night and steal passion out of the inner thighs of pop stars) but that is a total rumor... good LUCK.. fun image
(just kidding mods.. don't kill me... smooch)
author! i'm not sure if you made the face of model(mask) because from your SBS don't resulting that).... but maybe, my opinion doesn't metter....and if you made the face of model(mask), Congratulations!!!!...nice work!
Indeed I did. I can upload some more wip's if required.
Pretty cool, glad it never made it into the masks contest to be honest, it would have been competition for my 1st
@ Ory :P
Looks amazing! Great color choice.
Beautiful job.....well done......G/L Author.
Thanks
A shame the ear(s) that were 'hard' don't show, but this is very cool work! Love the way the mask is 'broken apart'.
Thanks, the broken effect was done using a copy of the mask that was blown apart using a geometric/deformable Bomb

cool...gl
Too dark. It's hard to tell what's really going on, or where your visual focal point is.
i Must agree with MossyB,really difficult to see what is actually going on.Maybe a bitt more even and broader light spread will do the trick.
nice render, better in hi-res.!!
