This was done in a bit of a rush.. got home 2 hours before the contest was gonna end.. but i guess the pressure was good for something and ended up with a good result.
I started this entry two weeks ago, but only got myself to finish it only now
The grass and the trees were done using paint effects in maya, and were a pain in the.. bottom when it camed to render the scene (5 years and 3312 days ago)

Very good skills. I'm sure you used a camera in Max with less than 40 lens. Thats why image is deformate. I use only camera lens higher than 80 except if I want this special lens effect deform

Too dark since the tree house should be your subject, but the ocean and sky are the major focal points...
Nice house, the tree looks like its just stuck under it rather than supporting it though. Not sure how your program works but i'd suggest you increase the size of the tree substantially, chop off the top of it then sit the house on there and get rid of the base with the staircases.

my understanding of in the bag... was that whatever it was was obtainable.... hence bagged...?...
In The Bag:
To have something secured.
But it's "in the bag," not "in the chest, invisible..."
Why don't you change the chest with an old bag (by popular demand), tied up with a rope - medieval style - and a warning when bag is open, etc.
It would be a pity to get low votes just cause of this.

You did a great job on the axe, it's a shame that the handle isn't shown much in the end image. Sparks maybe could use work, maybe sharpen the blunt ends some, but nice job otherwise. 
I agree. Such a pretty axe and wheel, yet it's hard to tell without looking at the SBS.
