In step 1, is there any thickness? You only have two measurements. Might be considered a plane, not a cube. Clever idea, though. Too bad you can't add the fly to the top card.

Its a thin cube, like a couple of mm but its got 6 faces not 2. Definitely a cube not a plane

Nice imagination....Creative work...But chess represents a war in a strategic manner..In chess you try to defeat the other person with your moves not in terms of violence but in terms of strategy...So overall the game of chess is a different interpretation but your imagination is also cool...GL..

meh.. i choose divergence over conformity any day, even though it might not be in the same light as the intended theme of the competition. Doesn't even matter if i don't win, its just... art.
