My favourite car.......ever (5 years and 3004 days ago)
Oooooh, this is exquisite! Leave it to a skilled 3d artist to get the reflection of the underside correct (too many Photoshoppers just flip an image, with no undersides...lol!)
Love the color and the radial lines. Theres a bit of a fuzzy grayness behind the top half of the lettering I'm not wild about, but this is still a fabulous render!
this is very handsome.. good luck author
Thanks!!
much better
you have an issue next to the back wheel the body has no thickness, but otherwise nice model good luck.
Yeah, I havent finished all of the back yet, still got rear lights and bumper to do too. Not sure Im gonna get the chance to finish it this week so I entered now using the best angle I could without showing the unfinished areas
Awesome!!!!
Thank you :x

great looking model, the rear wheels look like they are off the ground though and some texturing would be cool.
oops, i noticed that and did another render, then uploaded the wrong one. DOH!!!
Am I allowed to change it?
Changed it!!
I dont really like it when changes are made based on comments after an entry has been made. but as I had just uploaded the wrong one i'll allow myself to do it this once
Nice quick modeling. I havn't got a chance in this comp.
Nice model & nice presentation.
You said: "I dont really like it when changes are made based on comments" - this site is a place to learn, more than is a place to show off, that's why improvements during the contest are allowed & encouraged .
I agree its a place to learn, but once people vote on a piece, I think it should then have to stay as it is, otherwise someone who votes on a piece as soon as it is uploaded can be voting on a different image to one that votes just before the end of the entry period.
Just my opinion - and even the missus doesn't think much to that!
Great render, but having the ground plane the same shade as the vehicle makes it too hard to fully appreciate your efforts. More contrast or a different color would be more effective.
I like it. :P
Author, don't forget many people comment before voting so if there is an improvement of an entry, they can vote on the revised image.
fair point
Clean and well done author! Best of luck!
Thanks

Nice work .... GL
Cheers Bro.
great work love the texturing.
Great mugs, but what is the appliance on the RH side that the light is shining from? It kind of looks like a front load washing machine, but that makes no sense...
Thanks, the light is coming from a window above the machine.
Also for ur project, nice modeling and texturing, and in sbs what I see is 2d picture id 3d contest...
Also for ur project, nice modeling and texturing, and in sbs what I see is 2d picture in 3d contest... for background
???
I don't understand your point, adding a 3d object to a 2d image is a very good skill to have in your arsenal!! matching lighting and reflections and camera setup is quite difficult to get right and I'm sure some of the experts could pick my attempt apart but I don't see where the problem is?
Great idea and a pretty nice render, although the shadows in high res are a bit jagged
Are these ray trace or deep shadow maps I don’t remember if they have deep shadow maps in 3d max. If so, deep shadow maps need very high sample rates to be affective. Would have been a great touch if you could have got the reflections of the cups in the appliances on either side devils in the detail........
