Kudos to you for getting him eye level. With this POV you pull us into the shot quickly. The colour palette transforms this into photographic art. The eyes are sharp with a slight blur on his nose and whiskers which gives the story of him having a bit of a nosh and that is the exclamation mark that delights us visually. Love this...a lot.
They are adorable.
Numbered from left to right, I will match 1+7 2+5 3+6 4+8
The two brown headed ones are easy to match. The others are a bit harder because they all so much alike.

Very good but the two liver ones are not twins. You need to look at the markings on the top of the heads. so the twins are like this 1+6, 2+5, 3+7, and 4+8.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! I sure had fun trying to keep them lined up for the photo!!
At least I got two sets right. It was fun trying to match them. I would still match the liver ones together because of colour rather than head markings. It makes more sense to me since they stand out from the rest. I am sure you had a ball trying to keep them lined up. I tried lining up a litter of kittens once and gave up because they simply wouldn't stay put.

Good image. Beautiful, thoughtful face and nice 'soft' background. Might it be better with some of the right hand area cropped out so that the image was square?
I wish I could tell you on how to improve this image...I CAN"T...beautiful in sepia, showing great skin tones, diffused background and I think the crop is perfect with her looking into all that negative space. This is a well thought out image with technical elements nicely handled.
Congrats on winning this combined photo and Photoshop contest, have fun with your full version of Filter Forge 6!
