Was trying to create the feeling of a contemplative person looking into himself and future. Trying to convey a parallel image more than alternative image. Didn't want reflective image to be merely a skeleton or other unrecognizable image too removed from source image and subject's self-perception..

That was the first thing I thought to do...well not the red, white and blue thing..... the finger thing.... but I was chicken that it wasn't appropriate content and in keeping with the rules.

are you allowed to add just filters?

Love the title, but I'm afraid this will get yanked...for only filter use. Try blending the original on top of it with a different blending mode...or maybe only brush parts of it back with a layer mask. IF you do something like I suggested, it may not be a 'filter only' type entry. Give it a try!

like the colours. perhaps you can make something out this picture, using the neon colours...
