whole lot of joy in the piece!!! I'd say add a shadow but not really needed.. combining realism with comic art has always been a soft spot in my heart.. GREAT JOB!! ( I actually like the drop shadow on the fly.. but that's just me.. makes him look like you could peel him off the picture) good luck

Looks good. But the spot above his head where the wall shows through the trees could be chopped a little better. In high res you can see some of the leaves kinda fade into the background. Other than that, smart idea.
