My first real digital drawing, only the boy was taken from a picture. The rest just fantasy. Hope you like it. Check hires ;-) (4 years and 253 days ago)
Hi... nice to come back and see your work... I like the painting effect given to the image... the surrounding objects, machine and boy give the idea an eerie feeling... I would have liked the boy looking at the machine.. robot.. instead of looking at the left side... it is a good idea... btw,,, love the colors.... good luck...

Thanks George, it is not a painting effect..it is painted .
I see what you mean with the boy. Bit late to change..glad you like it anyway
Sorry I can see the painting you did... yes... painting effect means even if you painted it... it does not mean a filter or filter were used... I can see your work... I do the same some times... and I like it.. using brushes is a soothing time for inspiration.... thanks...
Great work! The teeth are a nice, understated touch. I also like the pinkish-violet hues in the middle of the ears. It's a good contrast with the yellow, makes the image feel all the more lively.
Hilarious concept (and your son looks adorable!), great blending, coloring and texture matching. Love that you used only the two teeth, but the original version would make a great image, too. I hope the caterpillar isn't eating your veggies.
Like this a lot, great idea
You might want to have a new look at the lamp post though, maybe you can correct the perspective a bit and mask the white edges around it a bit better, for the rest: good blending, nice color combinations, good imagination
hmm im wondering why yu didnt put all window blinds there.. for me that would be even nicer but thats my opinion. your work looks great and the lamp i kinda like it not being so straight that gives a lil oldfashioned look to it but you do need to clean the white edges arround it. Gonna hold off my vote for now

I'm gonna work on the edges, give me some time pls.
changed now:
Cleaned the white edges and added the missing blinds.
Thanks for your advice!!
Very fun and very striking HDR [high dynamic range]! I feel like the flamingo is en pointe, however, which is disturbing as I think the floor is well below the bottom of the window. Step 5 of the SBS has a flamingo with no 'feet' visible which works better for me although that flamingo is admittedly perhaps a bit too large. Nevertheless, shrinking the flamingo need not require revealing its 'feet.'

Thnx DanLundberg for your constructive comment. One remark; its not the feet you see its the knees.
Reminds me A LOT of Fantastic Planet (1973). May cause me to re-watch it.. (though as a child it scared the bejessus out of me )
