Interesting idea, but the smoke and steam don't look realistic. And out-of-bounds images are more compelling if the OOB element is more substantially out of the photo frame. Scrunch the left photo edge so the white frame seems to be parallel to the front of the train engine.
Nice effort. But I agree that smoke and steam are cartoonish. Try to make them using clouds render filter, resizing and removing the excess with soft eraser. In the case of smoke, you change the color. It's an idea, GL!
