Author, it might be a good Idea to KEEP the detail in the fountain base to match the detail of the dragon fountain. All you have to do is put the original picture (The Cape Town Photo) in a layer under the whole creation, and just gently (soft brush) erase the top layer (the finished chop) in the area of the fountain. The blurring of the image causes a great depth of field but it then causes the Dragon fountain to float a bit. (NOT a big change, just a suggestion.)
This will also give you a chance to clean up the debris around the edges of the Dragon Pot (in HiRes you can see some wonky erasing). Also not a Big thing, but it will help you get higher votes.)
A very cute Idea indeed
Hallmark calling! Very sweet image. You can ground the lamp and the squirrel a little more by placing a simple blur black disk beneath them (carefully, experiment) or burn soft ovals below them, this will give them a tighter feeling to the image. At the moment they look a tad bit floaty. A touch of darkening (Burn) to the girl fingers will make them look like they are pressing into the ground and not cut off (careful to match the ground as well). ONLY A SUGGESTION. It's a very sweet image.. good luck
Also, Your title sucks...(J/K) you can give it a proper title by simply going to your profile/my entries then just click the title and it should allow you to change it. Entry number 95481 just doesn't make it... (Big Stupid Grin)
When using the transform tool to resize an image hold down the shift key to maintain the proportions of the image. The figures in your entry are distorted because you didn't do that.
EDIT: Looks much better now!
