You need at least one intermediate step between your source and your final result, I can't see what you did with your source. Comparing the 2 images, I'm sure that they are not the same, it's like you use other photo, not the source you provided and I'm sure that you took one more photo of the room reflection in the mirror, so you don't have to re-create image of the room where the man's reflection stood. Sorry to say that, but if you did that, it's like cheating to me because it's much easier to you, while some people can think you re-created the room perfectly only based on the source...
The steps that he must have taken to do this seem so simple that I wouldn't have bothered with a more detailed SBS either. Seems it would be kinda redundant. He said that the images are his own. But author: I think you still have to post your originals. I like it.
yes you are right langstrum.. alot of steps have been skipped.. I'll be good author if you add those missing steps, it'll result in good voting and high marks.. wht I think is that you have taken atleast 2 pics and probably using a tripod.. 1 of the empty room with just mirror as subject.. 2 by standing in front of the mirror... and blended both of them using masks.. if you can show us the mystery part its going to be the strongest entry in this contest.. please do so author..
Thanks for the comments.
I have added a second image to the SBS.
These are the only two images used, however, I took several photos to begin with, and uploaded the wrong one for the SBS by mistake. Sorry for that. This has now been corrected, and well spotted Langstrum,
I simply cut out the image in the reflection and rotated it. Moved it a little so the fingers touched, then used details from the blank image to correct the background. Also took a little weight off
