The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns preferably without gluing or cutting the paper, and using only one piece of paper. In this contest, your goal is to use photoshop to create realistic-looking origami out of other images. You can’t use photos of handmade origamis and use it for your entry, your origami piece has to be entirely created in your favorite graphical program, built with non-origami images. Good luck!

So, you can use crop or grain, but you can also use other materials. Try to make creative patterns or unlikely structures.

The goal for this contest is to make a diptych-type entry, with two of the same photos at first glance. Your job is to alter one of the images in subtle ways, by adding or removing various objects. Merge both your images in 1 big image… the unaltered one on top, followed by the one with the changes. Other people can guess in the comments where the differences are. Changes can be for example: a missing object, replaced objects, a color change on a certain part, gradient changes, … Try to make big changes, which are still hard to spot.

Storms can cause some serious damage to our planet. In this contest, we’re taking it one step further. Create an image of an ongoing or finished storm that caused some very unusual damage. For example, you could make a formation of cows floating in air by the storm, a storm that caused objects to form a wicked building or a fully demolished city, with only 1 thing standing, … possibilities are endless and very broad. As long as the result is extreme and unusual, caused by a storm, anything goes! Good luck.
