I have to be honest with all of you. It’s noon, I’m starving and the only thing on my mind is a cheeseburger. So show me one! Take the most delicious, mouth watering picture of a cheeseburger you can muster. I’ll open up the guidelines to also include hamburgers and, for all you veggies out there, tofu or vegetable burgers. If your picture makes the viewer want to get up and go buy one, you’ve done your job correctly. So come on! My stomach can’t wait all day!

Light refraction occurs when a light ray changes mediums. Changing the medium changes the speed of the light ray. This is known as Snell’s law. Light traveling from air and going into water would be an example. In almost every case the direction of the light ray changes also. In this contest, show us your most artistic take on light refraction. Here’s more information on light refraction that might give you some ideas.

From back in the day to this modern age, I remember having one of those phones where you put that tube-looking thing to your ear and spoke into the other tube thing. Ours didn’t work, but it looked great on the wall. Enter your most artistic shots of a classic phone. Meaning: no cellphones, but only fixed home phones with a wire. The older, the better.
