Another month of thrilling photography contests has ended! We’ve collected the 100 highest scoring entries from the Pxleyes photography contests that were active during the month April 2011… This list is ranked by the final scores of the entries.

So, no matter if it is natural or artificial light, show us the rays it makes. No humans in the photo! Also, photos with only a light source, showing no rays, are not valid. The light source can be in the picture as well, but the rays should be the main focus. For an example, check out the following photo

You must integrate the PXL logo in your shot; how you do this is up to you: FI it can be a flag, a tattoo or a 3D object (made out of wood or so). The ultimate goal is to turn your photo into a mock advertising in the next issue of PXL’s own magazine “The EYE”. Herefore we also want you to make a text suggestion in the description, this is not required though. If not we will come up with something. The top entries will be posted in the next issue of our magazine (which will be released in July) and will be changed into mock advertizings. Requirements: aspect ratio of your entry: 8.5 x 11 and it has to be shot / cropped in portrait, meaning 11 high and 8.5 wide. Make sure the ratio of your entry is correct (meaning 8.5 x 11; this equals US letter size ratio with a small bleed). Please post the largest high res as you can. Have fun and good luck!

The goal is to promote Pxleyes in the most positive way you can. You must integrate the PXL logo in your shot; how you do this is up to you: FI it can be a flag, a tattoo or a 3D object (made out of wood or so). The ultimate goal is to turn your photo into a mock advertising in the next issue of PXL’s own magazine “The EYE”. Herefore we also want you to make a text suggestion in the description, this is not required though. If not we will come up with something. The top entries will be posted in the next issue of our magazine (which will be released in July) and will be changed into mock advertizings. Requirements: aspect ratio of your entry: 8.5 x 11 and it has to be shot / cropped in portrait, meaning 11 high and 8.5 wide. Make sure the ratio of your entry is correct (meaning 8.5 x 11; this equals US letter size ratio with a small bleed). Please post the largest high res as you can. Have fun and good luck!
