I was just at another site *blushes* and saw a contest for sunrise photos. While looking through them, many of them actually looked like sunsets. I wondered to myself, “how can you tell the difference between sunrises and sunsets unless you know the exact location?” That led me to a contest idea: Take a picture of a sunrise and also a sunset in the same day. Obviously they will be from different spots, but if at all possible, try to stay in the same location…just face the opposite way. Put them next to each other one one document. If you really want to make it cool, do a panorama of the sunrise, midday and the sunset 😉 You would have to keep your tripod set up all day for this though.

I wondered to myself, “how can you tell the difference between sunrises and sunsets unless you know the exact location?” That led me to a contest idea: Take a picture of a sunrise and also a sunset in the same day. Obviously they will be from different spots, but if at all possible, try to stay in the same location…just face the opposite way. Put them next to each other one one document. If you really want to make it cool, do a panorama of the sunrise, midday and the sunset 😉 You would have to keep your tripod set up all day for this though.
