Nicely done , one thing, the little branch he's on looks like it is a bit too high. Compare to your reference image, the plant is seen in between his "middle feet" and below his "front feet"

It's looking better, I think it could be moved down, just a tiny bit more, and also the plant under the caterpillar would be in his shadow.

I commend you for providing an SBS. Making the guys card players is creative, but the blank backs of their cards seems odd. The five-of-hearts card in the foreground is a nice touch but I think it should be whole (no ragged edge) and a bit bigger as it's nearer the viewer. Changing the snow in the contest start pic to a lilac texture doesn't make any sense to me.

Cigar added and cards' back changed. Hope it's better now!
