Nicely done! If you can patch in some bark in the area of the thumb by her feet, it'll be great!

Very nice idea! Just some tips: 1. try bending the woodstructure on the top 2 fingers a bit, so they follow the fingers shapes. 2. the girl is to blurry compared with the hand. 3. Add some shadows coming from the thumb on/and other fingers. Those are details which will enhance your image.
