I did this editing of your nice picture by erasing the dark area at the top and cropping to leave more space up:

Thanks, Denlig. That's fantastic! I had cropped as much of the dark on the top of the picture as I could. Am I correct that your excellent work wouldn't have been within the rules?
There is a beautiful story here and I'm happy to not see a mobile phone in sight. A family that reads together, very heartwarming. A well timed photograph showing the members completely oblivious to your intrusion and that makes for a great photograph. Technically strong and sharp, a bit more room at the right would not have hurt the photo, but truly, that is just a mild moan.

This 33-piece orchestra began as a spool of galvanized steel wire and a block of balsa wood. The process of making the individual musicians and their instruments took nearly 100 hours. (5 years and 958 days ago)
This is such a wonderful piece to study and to think how much concentration went into each and every piece. You show the entire orchestra and that further highlights the labour intensive aspect to this handicraft. You shot this with good dof, it is clear and easy to see and that makes it interesting with all those patterns repeating. I also like the compositional angle which strengthens the photograph.

Thank you for your kind comments, still. This shot was quite a challenge.
