Good mood & color.
EDIT: On second look, I think the dirty glass would create a slight shadow on the face, but that's just me being fussy. I'm still really likin' this.

Yeah baby! Brilliant stuff! Love the detail and shadows. Agree with CMYK...great mood! Author...it's nice to see more new entries from you!
love it, creeps me a bit, it actually made me think of that old movie "The Birds" glad im looking at this at 4am and not 4pm lol
CMYK..aka Lab...that was a conflict I had..do I drop a cooler color where the glass would cast upon and conflict with the strong shad I have there or just let it run with the nice contrast I have. Tough call. We are both right...and both wrong. Thanks for the focus on m entry...it all helps.
Congrats!!
Congrats Stowsk! Really liked this one!
Love this! Excellent combo of elements.

Gads, this is very interesting - didn't realize til I viewed in hi-res, and you've got such patience! I'd love it if you included how you made the little holes and wires in your sbs, I'll wait to vote.
Edit: Thank you for that explanation, author - your steps 1 and 2 just look like black dots, so I guess after that you did further manipulation. And now I've voted - that partially explains your patience! Simple, but so effective. Holy moly, did that take a few days for all that 'surgery'?
Thanks Pearlie The holes were created by using a small brush with a large spacing and just brushing a line to the contours of the face. Then ripple and smudge them. The wires were just brushed from hole to hole, textured and smudged. Yes it took patience, and thank you for checking out the HiRes.
Very imaginative and well executed entry...colors are great and idea with dots and stitches is top notch...well done author
She's gonna need major plastic surgery when she's older...great job, author!!!
Creative concept and you certainly committed yourself to a lot of work. The hair/veil notion is very cool. I found the medium hi-res version [the one shrunk to fit on my screen] the most compelling. The small one here doesn't have quite enough detail to appreciate what you've done while the full hi-res reveals the misalignments, etc. that are understandable when you're doing something so intricate for negligible remuneration at best. The assymentric hole arrangement on the symmetrical face is a perfectly valid artistic choice. I do feel, however, that the holes on the far side of her nose should not be particularly visible.
Like it a lot........Well done Author & Good Luck.

This is fantastic work, it is very neat looking, I like the use of high-quality sources, the lighting is excellent and the color scheme superb.
Great over all, but the bottom curve of the black form bothers me. It seems like the edge should be less opaque, like the rest.
Agreed
Good concept and nice clean work!
Looks better now...GL author!
