Is the camera under water for this shot?

Yes it was, but I suppose the high angle could lead to confusion. I replaced it with a lower angle of my subject to avoid any conflict. Enjoy!

This is a different shot. Much more obviously underwater. GL. (didn't know RAW files showed where the camera was)

Thanks for the tip, Alan. I tried cropping it in tighter and it just wasn't working for me (was too close to his frame for my liking). Great advice, though!

Great shot, and in cases like this, it's such a shame we can't use Photoshop, it would have been such a small thing to remove the letterbox.

Nothing wrong with letterbox. It just keeps it real, Highlights in sky are a bit blown out if i had to be critical about anything. nice photo, love the attitude.
