I like this, not sure exactly how I feel about the stark contrast in textures between the birds and the trees, but I think it works.

I like it, the streaks of light look a little off though, and maybe add a lens flare.

if i added a lens flare wouldn't it go against the rules?

The author is right. Lensflare would be against the rules. I like your take on the theme. You've portrayed the couple simply and put the emphasis on the light. Well done!

nice , but there is some spot near the palm tree need to be erased ,aslo around the couple.
