TRADITIONAL DRAWING: Illustrate a scene from a book you have read. Give us the name of the book and the author as well as a brief description of the scene you choose.
Romka: can I draw anything else (not the scene from book), but inspired from the name of the book or something like that, but that would be not the scene? ( 5 years and 3585 days ago )
gotmeamuse: Woooo Whooooo!!!! wheres my crayons???? ( 5 years and 3583 days ago )
gotmeamuse: can I draw anything else (not the scene from book).........Romka, I think if the contest specifies a "scene from a book" and you create "not the scene from a book" then there would be a conflict. ( 5 years and 3583 days ago )
jawshoewhah: I like this contest idea. Believe me, I've ready plenty of books to pic a scene. Oh, gotmeamuse, I think you could do anything if you put your mind to it. ( 5 years and 3582 days ago )

You need more then the finished work to show a sbs, please do at least a two step preliminary sketch up to your finished work. you have time to do this yet.

This has such a lovely delicacy about it, Lovely nuances in shading! However the body perspectives are somewhat bizarre. The head is too large for the body, and the darker shading of the wing next to the body gives an illusion of the torso being too large, some of the drapery of the fabric is a little triangular. The right arm has a strange shape near the front around the cuff, which gives it an effect of looking like the musculature is in the wrong place, which could be solved w/ a little more proper shading. I only nit pick because this could be exceptional.
