Nicely excecuted, especially the eyes are noticeable and the skin tone is suitable with the winter. But, should the wind be a bit more visible? I feel the beauty, the coldness and just a mild breeze, which should be more focused. Moreover, seems like you use "complex brush" to make the ice flakes (as defined by the guideline for digital painting contest, and not allowed to be used), maybe it depends on the mod, but you should notice. I'll try to make the wind more visible, but the snowflakes, I made my own snowflake and then used the brush optins to scatter, size and etc. thank you for the comments (and faves)!!

I think this is the reference for your work (http://faestock.deviantart.com/art/Spring15-136642389). I found it by chance and I'm sure this is the one you used but you didn't mention about that in your SBS. The author of this image is famous in DA and have some strict stock rule, what if she finds out this one?

Lots of personality! and very cute. I love that your character is way off center. The only minor thing I can fault, is the windmill, I understand that you're trying to show motion, with the blades being so faint, but since it's in a more cartoon style, it MIGHT help if it was slightly more defined. (just the blades) On first glance (before looking at the sbs) I thought it was a carrot.

looks pretty cool! i hope it can stay in the contest however... if you read in the guidelines for the site, it mentions that for the drawing contests they have to be done on paper and scanned in. digital drawing would fall into the photoshop contests no the drawing contests... GL!

* Paper drawings are not allowed, but you CAN use a paper sketch or photo as a reference for your digital work. is not necesary to use a sketch on paper...
