sunzet: Like "croquis" - or can the person use clothes? Cause I´m not sure where to find a naked life-model if I´m not allowed to use a photo as reference. ( 5 years and 3420 days ago )

ZaphodQB: In light of the fact that a model could be doing pretty much anything at all at the moment the shutter is snapped, what exactly constitutes a "model pose" and want disqualifies a drawing for NOT being a "model pose"? ( 5 years and 3413 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @Artsyfrog: all traditional techniques are allowed, so painting would be OK. Remember you'll have to make an SBS though. ( 5 years and 3412 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @ZaphodQB: all poses will be accepted as long you remember it's within the rules and remember this is a family site. ( 5 years and 3412 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @Sunzet: yes photoreferences are OK (as always) just do not use them to trace and-or make a close copy from them. ( 5 years and 3412 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @Glam0urGirl2007: the description says "a model", this means 1. ( 5 years and 3412 days ago )
thefinalcut: what is the definition of "close copy", when using a photo reference? What if it is a picture of a 3D rendered person? ( 5 years and 3410 days ago )
janetww: i'm glade my contest idea was chosen and was realy looking forward to putting the entry i drew in but i was admitted to hospital on friday so am unable to submit it ( 5 years and 3408 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @thefinalcut: a photoreference may be used to check fi the ratio and proportions of an object (fi a humanbody) which is allowed, using the same reference though to make it your goal to make a copy of that reference is considered to be a close copy and is not allowed. We want original entries with your own vision. ( 5 years and 3406 days ago )
