You already have a white "light specular" painted onto the lens opening of the iris. The giant white "manga" specular makes it look like the eye is diseased.

The eyelashes are a bit too thick, almost scary looking, but the eyeball is well rendered, if a bit too pink...

Beautiful. The only thing I would have done was made shadows for the eyelashes so that they won't look like they're attached to the brow. But it is still very beautiful!

I think the fire inside the eye needs a little more dynamic, you should play more with the lights/burns. Very good concept tho!
