Contest Moderator: Go ahead, Mina. Just don't forget to save steps. ( 5 years and 2470 days ago )
kimartist: I don't know why my digital drawing was removed from this contest. I received a private message but I'm unable to read it. Javascript doesn't work in my browser, so I'm unable to use half the features on this website (i.e. I click on "buttons" and nothing happens). Very discouraging. ( 5 years and 2465 days ago )
Contest Moderator: kimartist, likely it was removed, because you have to add some progress visuals in the SBS how your entry was made. ( 5 years and 2463 days ago )
Howdie stranger! If you want to participate in this contest, just:
Interesting approach, nice colors and appealing use of light from the back. It's a bit of a pity that the high res image is still pretty small, seeing that in your SBS you made the canvas 4000x1500 pxls, but so be it. I'd have liked to see a bit more details of the elefant-kinda creature. I understand the head is mostly dark because there's light from the back, so in a way you're correct. You may wonder however if you want it that dark though. Since it will be dark soon, I can imagine there would be some light hanging in front of the animal, so it's easier to see where it's walking (to give an example to add a light source in front of the elephant). To make the animal even more massively huge, you could lower the horizont line (but have to admit, that's also a personal preference). And if it's some kind of path where they're walking, I doubt there would be any sort of grass or green left, so you may consider to make it more brownish-grey. Of course that's all up to you . Your way of making the leaves is nice, btw. Overall well done! Good luck!

I tend to draw on a large canvas and then shrink it down but I also always keep a higher res image on my comp so if you're interested you can see it here http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=45136
And, yes, there are quite a bit of things I could improve like the ones you mentioned and maybe add the clouds but I didn't have the time to do it. I'm not left with much free time because of school but I'll try to do better next time (:
Thank you!
Thank you
and you can have high res here http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=45136
I usually start drawing on a large canvas and then shrink it down because I've had experience with people using my art without permission
